Back in the saddle: David Coverdale of Whitesnake
Whitesnake will release Made In Japan, recorded in 2011, on DVD, DVD/2CD and Blu-ray on April 22 via Frontiers Records.
It was shot during the Japanese leg of the band?s Forevermore tour and features recently-departed drummer Brian Tichy alongside David Coverdale, Doug Aldrich, Reb Beach and Michael Devin plus guest keyboardist Bruan Ruedy.
The band say they?ve spent most of 2012 editing and mixing the production in HD video, stereo audio and 5.1 surround sound. Bonus material includes soundcheck recordings from various venues on the Japanese tour.
Frontiers Records say: ?The Forevermore songs alone are worth the price, not forgetting the classic Whitesnake songs Is This Love, Still Of The Night and Here I Go Again. It?s all here ? this is what fans have been clamouring for. Another amazing night to remember and share.?
Coverdale and co recently reunited with drummer Tommy Aldridge for his third stint with the band, after Tichy decided ?life?s too short? to stay with the band. Whitesnake are gearing up for their 2013 world tour, which includes UK dates with Journey and Thunder.
