And on Sunday night's episode of ABC's Revenge, Conrad Grayson (Henry Czerny) did just that, informing Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) that they will be renewing their vows in Tuscany.
This not-so-romantic gesture came following a press conference where Victoria admitted that their daughter Charlotte (Christa Allen) is actually accused terrorist David Clarke's child. Conrad then aligned himself with the Initiative and announced to a Vanity Fair reporter that he and Victoria would be tying the knot for the second time. Confused? So are we.

The marriage might be a sham, but from the looks of these images from next week's episode, Victoria makes the best of the situation, choosing a stunning gray Vera Wang mermaid-style gown and accessorizing with piles of coordinating pearls for her Italian nuptials. While we're shocked that she strayed from her signature bandage dresses, we love the scheming socialite's bridal look. She almost looks happy. Almost.
